I watched James Van Praagh, the famous psychic and ghost medium, on "The View" this morning. He actually had me believing his every word!

"I can see dead people," Van Praagh told the women of "The View." "I have had this ability since I was young."

He said that dead people come to him, but he cannot summon them. He also said he believes in an after life.

"I do believe in heaven and hell, but not the religious point of view," said Van Praagh.

Van Praagh, who is also a best-selling author, not only sees dead people but he also talks to them, asks their advice and introduces them on the "Ghost Whisperer," in which he is a co-executive producer.

I'm damn near buying it, are you? Can James Van Praagh really see dead people?
