As this story from the Associated Press reports, Amy Winehouse was hospitalized. Her representatives say it was due to a reaction from medication she was taken.

We all know that Amy normally doesn't have a problem with drugs, so a reaction to medication seems a bit odd to me. Then again, I'm no doctor!

Police were stationed outside Amy's house as she was pulled out in wheelchair wrapped in a blanket and hooked up to oxygen tanks. Her father, Mitch Winehouse, was with her.

The Grammy Award winning singer is expected to be released from the hospital on Tuesday after being monitored over night.
