Photos from California's Gay Weddings on Monday
Everybody loves a wedding!
Here is the GaySocialites.com California Gay Wedding album.
As of 5pm PST on Monday, California started recognizing marriage as a union between two people, not just a man and a woman.
Dozens of same sex couples tied the knot Monday evening. Here are some photos from the events.

Shelly Bailes, left, and Ellen Pontac, right, hold each other during their wedding ceremony held at the Yolo County Clerk/Recorder's office in Woodland, Calif., Monday, June 16, 2008. Bailes and Pontac were the first gay couple to wed in Yolo County after a May 15th decision by the California Supreme Court to overturn a 2000 ballot initiative banning same sex marriages. In Los Angeles, Robin Tyler and Diane Olson -- the first plaintiffs in the lawsuit that led to the California Supreme Court overturning the ban last month -- were wed by Rabbi Denise Eger minutes after receiving their license in Beverly Hills.
Lesbian rights pioneers Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon look on as Mayor Gavin Newsom addresses journalists. The couple made international headlines in 2004 when they were married in the first round of same-sex marriages San Francisco, only for their nuptials to later be declared illegal.
