Probably not a big shocker, but Lesbians are beating Gay men down the aisle in California 60% to 40%.

I haven't done any scientific research, but I'd say that is probably consistent across the board in states that offer gay marriage or civil unions.

I know three Lesbians in New Jersey who are civilly united (I have no idea what to call the action of a civil union, so I use that) and no gay men. Interesting note: the three Lesbians I know who were united in Jersey have all known their partner less than a year.

I'm just saying.
