Los Angeles Mayor to perform first gay wedding
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will perform his first gay marriage today at the Los Angeles City Hall.
Villaraigosa will marry "American Beauty" producer Bruce Cohen and art consultant Gabriel Catone.
The LA Mayor promised to marry as many gay couples as possible when the Supreme Court lifted the ban on same sex marriages last month.
Mayor Villaraigosa and Cohen are evidently friends. The wedding will be performed in the Mayor's press room.
