Governor David Paterson makes gay New Yorkers proud at Sunday's parade

govpatersongaypride.JPG

New York Governor David Paterson marched in Sunday's Gay Pride parade in Manhattan. Above Paterson is pictured with openly gay City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn and a member of his staff/ former GaySocialite of the Year Peter Yacobellis.

Reports and historians believe that Gov. Paterson could be the first ever sitting New York Governor to march in the Gay Pride parade.

Paterson and his group of marchers received an overwhelming response as they walked down 5th Avenue before millions.

Having on been in office for a few months, Gov. Paterson has already made more impact for gay marriage than another other New York governor.

Let's just say Paterson made me VERY proud on Sunday!
