Gay wedding fever is spreading through California, and just about every gay couple is picking up a license.

Ellen DeGeneres and her girlfriend Portia de Rossi are planning a summer wedding, but the surprise is that Ellen and Portia are evidently passing on a prenup.

A friend close to DeGeneres says that Ellen is so confident in her relationship with de Rossi that no prenup is necessary.

I know Portia is not Anne Heche, but you'd think Ellen would have learned her lesson the first time around.
