Why was Ted Kennedy rushed to the hospital?

Ted Kennedy was rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning, as we already told you, but there are mixed reports as to why Sen. Kennedy was sent to the emergency room.
Evidently, the paramedics were called to the Kennedy compound at around 8:15 a.m. Originally, it seemed like he may have had a stroke.
A family spokesman later characterized his condition as a seizure, the Associated Press reported. Those close to Kennedy also said they expected him to recover.
Kennedy, 76, was treated at Cape Cod Hospital before a helicopter transfer to Massachusetts General around 10:15 a.m.
Ted Kennedy hospitalization comes seven months after the veteran Senator had surgery to remove blockage in his left carotid artery.
