The Top 3 "American Idol" competitors were revealed on Wednesday as Jason Castro was sent packing. That leaves David Archuletta, David Cook and Syesha Mercado to battle it out for a spot in the finals and ultimately for the title of "American Idol."

My money is riding on David Archuletta, but I know a lot of people LOVE David Cook. He's a bit too cocky for me. Confidence is admirable in a singer, but he rides a fine line with being pretentious.

Syesha Mercado deserved to edge out Jason Castro. He seems like a comical character, but he isn't the best singer... and don't even get me started on his hair!

In addition to giving Castro the boot, "American Idol" filled the hour with performances by Maroon 5 and former "Idol" contestant Bo Bice.

The Top 3 "American Idol" hopefuls will take the stage again on Tuesday night.
