After hearing that "family values" politician Vito Fossella is such a scum bag, it makes me wonder if we can trust any of these politicos who are "doing the right thing."

Fossella thinks that same-sex marriage is wrong, but thinks it is okay to have a wife and family in New York and mistress with a kid in Virginia. That doesn't sound like someone who should be telling me what is ethical and what is moral.

Elected officials like Vito Fossella have been trying to define what is "right" and what is "wrong" for decades. Who is this adulter to tell us what is morally and ethically okay? If you're going by the Bible, I don't recall any of the 10 commandments that "Thou shall not have same sex marriage," but there is a commandment that says "Thou shall not commit adultery."

Who is the unethical one now, Vito?

The New York Daily News reported on Saturday that his tangled web of deceit doesn't end there. Evidently, Fossella had told his girlfriend he was separated from his wife. From here's only a matter of time until they both dump him and peg his ass in court for everything he's worth.

Fossella is being called upon to resign by his hometown paper, fellow members of the GOP and now GaySocialites.com. Let's just get it over with!

His resignation is expected before the weekend is over. We will keep you posted.
