Access Hollywood says they have a source close to Mariah Carey that has confirmed that the diva's engagement to actor Nick Cannon.

Mariah and Nick sparked rumors when they showed up together at the premiere of Carey's new movie "Tennessee" at the Tribeca film festival. In addition to walking in arm-in-arm, Mariah was also sporting a HUGE rock on her ring finger.

Perez Hilton is reporting that its the same ring Cannon used to propose to his ex-fiance Vctoria's Secret model Selita.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998.
