Let the super delegate shuffle begin
Let the dirty politics begin.
From here on out, Barack Obama will likely shift his focus from voters to super delegates. CNN's commentators seemed to predict it on Tuesday night's election coverage, but the shift has already started to happen.
Over the next few days, Obama and Hillary Clinton will both probably be calling on super delegates to publicly endorse them and leave their opponent if possible.
George McGovern, the Obama of the 70's, is the first to jump ship. McGovern has endorsed Barack Obama and asked Hillary to drop out of the race.
"It certainly was not out of any less respect for Senator Clinton," McGovern said. "I think she has waged a really courageous and valiant campaign. She will have my affection and admiration for all of my days."
Well that's a nice way to bail!
