On the eve of the Democratic primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, I want to make a plea to gay voters in these two states.

I encourage you to vote for Hillary Clinton. I know a lot of people have had fun riding on the Barack Obama bandwagon, but that is clearly derailing. We need to make a decision that is right for our country and is right for us.

I have reported Hillary's stance on gay rights, told you what she has done for gays in New York and officially endorsed her as my choice for President.

Now polls show that Hillary is more likely to beat John McCain than Barack Obama is. This election has definitely taken a turn over the past few weeks, and people are starting to fall out of love with Obama. Imagine how much worse it will get between now and November, if he were to make it that far.

North Carolina and Indiana voters have a chance to send out a message that Hillary is the right choice for America.

I can't imagine that the Democratic party and Howard Dean are so undemocratic that they will deny Michigan and Florida voters their rights. In that case, Hillary is sure to lead both the popular vote and the delegate count.

Vote for the smart choice, vote for Hillary Clinton!
