BUSTED. Country singer Chris Cagle and his girfriend Jennifer Tant were arrested early Wednesday morning in Nashville on domestic assault charges. Evidently Cagle and Tant were knocking each other around when someone called the cops. They were both held a mandatory 12-hour stay in jail before Cagle and Tant could post their $1,500 bonds. A spokesperson for Chris' label Capitol Nashville had no comment. Cagle is scheduled to stand trial Sept. 23 in Tucson, Ariz., on a misdemeanor assault charge. He is accused of striking a local resident on December 13th after a benefit concert.
