It was her week, Brooke White got the boot from "American Idol" on Wednesday night leaving David Cook, David Archuleta, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado as the final four contestants.

"Thank you," was pretty much all White had to say at the end of the "Idol" results show before she attempted to sing wading through her own tears.

Brooke was just the latest casualty of what seems to be shaping up as a battle of the Davids.

Next week the contestants will take on rock music, so it is definitely David Cook's week. Polls show David Archuleta is most likely to win this year's "American Idol" title.

During the live show, host Ryan Seacrest also addressed the "rumors" that Paula Abdul was going to get the boot from "American Idol" herself. After critiquing Jason Castro on two songs when he only sang one, Paula looked like a fool on Tuesday night's show. Seacrest, however, said Abdul is a part "of the family" and isn't going anywhere.
