Pete and Ashlee's engagement has Simpson seal of approval
Jessica, Daddy Joe and the whole Simpson clan seems to be proud of Ashlee's engagement to Pete Wentz.
Ashlee, of course, is glowing herself!
Her older sister Jessica said Ashlee was “overflowing with joy.” She said: “Pete is an incredible soul. They naturally bring out the best in each other. I couldn’t be happier.”
Daddy Joe Simpson said Pete called him in advance to ask for his blessing.
"I told him that I would be honored to have him as part of my family," Joe said.
The couple hasn't announced a wedding date yet.
