Jimmy Fallon to fill Conan O'Brien's late night chair

It looks like Jimmy Fallon is heading for late night television!
The network hasn't made the announcement official, but sources say Fallon will replace Conan O'Brien when he takes over for Jay Leno in May 2009.
NBC is expected to make the announcement on May 12 during its "upfront" presentation to advertisers in New York.
Conan will head to Los Angeles where Leno currently tapes. Fallon already resides in New York.
Fallon's new gig as "Late Night" host stems from a development deal he signed with NBC in early 2007. Jimmy, of course, starred on "Saturday Night Live" for six seasons.
