Howard Dean is getting impatient with superdelegates
Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean is really starting to put his foot down with the superdelegates. Mr. Impatient, Howard Dean, is dying to know who they're voting for! Will it be Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
“I need them to say who they’re for, starting now,” Dean said.
Evidently about 35% of the superdelegates are already committed to either Clinton or Obama, and Dean believes the others should decide by the time the final primaries conclude Montana and New Mexico.
“We’ve got to know who our nominee is, and there’s no reason not to know after the last primary on June 3,” he said.
“The superdelegates have actually been pretty good so far,” Mr. Dean added. “They’ve trickled in, they’ve made their alliances known as things have gone on, and they need to keep doing that so we get all this wrapped up in June.”
Clinton currently has more superdelegates than Obama. Howard Dean tried to run for president in 2004 but was tagged as crazy after he lost in Iowa and lost his mind.
