Air America Radio host Randi Rhodes has been suspended for making horrible comments about Senator Hillary Clinton and others.

Air America says they pulled the plug on Rhodes after she made "inappropriate statements about prominent figures, including Sen. Hillary Clinton, at a recent public appearance on behalf of Air America in San Francisco."

At the event, sponsored by Clear Channel Air America affiliate KKGN/San Francisco, Rhodes referred to Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro as a "fucking whores".

Air America Chair Charlie Kireker said in a statement, "Air America encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts."

Randi, who was basically doing a comedy routine, also went on a rant about having "an anti-Semite racist in the White House like Nixon or Ronald Reagan or Dick Cheney." She also poked fun at recently scandalized New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.

No word yet on when she will return to the air.
