'On the List' this weekend in New York City
It's BLACK PARTY weekend in New York City, and that means the streets are going to be crawling with bears and leather daddies. It's your chance to get tied up for the weekend!
That also means you'll get a rare chance to catch Peter Rauhofer's Work! on FRIDAY! According to Next Magazine, "After the eminent domain seizure of Stereo, DJ Peter Rauhofer’s sensational Saturday soirée takes it on the road." Work goes down this Friday at Highline Ballroom - 431 W. 16th St (btwn Ninth/10th Aves).
SATURDAY is the Rites XXIX: The Dangerous Black Party for Boys at Roseland Ballroom. The DJ rundown includes Stephan Grondin, Jonathan Peters, Joe Gauthreaux, Rich King, Gustavo and Drew G. General admission is $110, but if you're a youngin' (under 27) you can get in for $40 after 4 a.m. I have never been to a black party, and I just don't think this is the year. If you go - have fun, be safe and bring back some pictures!
