No one has really been able to confirm whether or not this is true, but the National Enquirer is reporting that Patrick Swayze is dying of pancreatic cancer.

The National Enquirer has reported some pretty wacky stuff, so let's hope this sad news about Patrick Swayze is not true.

Sources close to Swayze insist the story is far from true. They say Swayze is at work on a new movie in Los Angeles, and that the actor/ dancer is not dying.

The Enquirer reports that he was diagnosed with the cancer in January and immediately checked into Stanford University's cancer centre in Palo Alto, California for a gastro-intestinal procedure.

According to the tabloid, Swayze undergone three doses of chemotherapy, which has helped shrink a tumor in his pancreas. But The Enquirer also reports that doctors are not optimistic they will kill the cancer.

Swayze's popularity spans decades, and I'm sure this news would upset a lot of people world-wide.
