Yoko Ono is suing Lennon

Yoko Ono is evidently defending the name of her late husband John Lennon by slapping a lawsuit on Lennon Murphy for naming her band, Lennon.
Ono has filed court papers accusing Murphy of fraudulently registering Lennon as a trademark and for the "tarnishment" and exploitation of her former husband's name.
Murphy claims Yoko and her lawyer approved the use of the name Lennon for her debut album in 2000.
"If Yoko prevails, Lennon might never be able to tour or release records using the name Lennon," Murphy said on her MySpace page.
John Lennon was shot and killed in New York City in December of 1980.
