Martha Stewart Omnivision has announced that they are buying the Emeril Lagasse franchise. Emeril's line includes cookbooks, television shows, and kitchen products for a total of $45 million in cash and another $5 million in stock at closing.

Martha is determined to be the biggest media mogul on day time TV. Oprah, of course, own Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray.
