If the Barton family's New Years resolution was to keep their name in the headlines, they're doing a damn good job.

While Mischa Barton is trying to repair her post-DUI image, her sister Hania is recovering after trying to kill herself.

Hania Barton, 19, was rushed to Los Angeles' Ceder's Sinai Medical Center on December 27th suffering convulsions, according to the National Enquirer.

"The family bodyguard found her obviously overdosed on drugs, called her mother, and then rushed Hania to the emergency room," a source told the Enquirer. "It was a suicide attempt, and by the time she got to hospital, Hania was absolutely hysterical."

The Enquirer says that Barton overloaded on the muscle relaxer Soma and was treated for six hours before insisting on being discharged.
