Fox is taking it to the next level by mixing two of their strong points, reality TV and television news. 

The new Fox reality series stars swimsuit model and actress Lauren Jones as she makes the transition to become a TV journalist in an east Texas city.

"Anchorwoman" star Lauren Jones started her 30-day gig at CBS affiliate KYTX-TV.  There she will co-anchor the 5pm newscast and report local news all while being followed by a 40 person reality TV crew.

Jones has no journalism experience.  The stations says they have put Lauren through an intensive training in how to read a TelePrompTer and report stories on her own.

The station has even considered putting up billboards featuring the WWE Smackdown model in her swimsuit.
